Overview: We are seeking an experienced Inventory Manager to join our team. As the Inventory Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of inventory control and management. This is a key role within our organization, ensuring that our inventory is accurate, well-maintained, and efficiently managed. Responsibilities: - Develop and implement inventory management strategies and procedures to optimize inventory levels and minimize stockouts - Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management software (Oracle EBS) - Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile any discrepancies - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand and ensure adequate stock levels - Manage supplier relationships, including contract negotiation, performance evaluation, and issue resolution - Implement and maintain effective inventory control processes to prevent loss, damage, or theft - Analyze data to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and potential risks - Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for inventory management processes - Train and supervise inventory staff to ensure compliance with established procedures - Collaborate with other departments to optimize supply chain efficiency Skills: - Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices - Proficiency in using Oracle EBS or similar inventory management software - Experience in supplier management and contract negotiation - Solid understanding of inventory control techniques and best practices - Ability to analyze data and generate reports to support decision-making - Excellent organizational and time management skills - Strong attention to detail and accuracy - Effective communication skills, both verbal and written If you are a detail-oriented professional with a passion for inventory management, we would love to hear from you.
